Description
Designed to be applied over the exterior of chrome exhaust components to prevent it from turning blue up to the base metal temperatures of 590 C. For applications exceeding that temperature, a thermal barrier, such as MCS Insulating Base Coat could be applied to the inside of the chrome part to further reduce temperature. CFC has been used for many years by manufacturers of chrome exhaust stacks on trucks.
